New Dymo Connect software and new innovations from Dymo ensure labelling is super easy on the LabelWriter 550 / 5XL series . With its unique Automatic Label Recognition, you always know which labels (by size, type, and color) are loaded into the label maker at a glance. You’ll also know how many labels are remaining, so you'll never run out mid-job.
This is done using RFID technology - the software talks to the label printer and to the label roll itself - it's brilliant. As soon as you load a new roll, the Dymo Connect software reads the RFID chip on the label roll and the label specs show on your screen. It also tells you if the label size in the printer actually matches the label template you're working on.
