What do the error Messages on the RhinoPRO 5000 mean?The RhinoPRO 5000 is displaying an error on screen. What does it mean?The following is a list of possible errors codes that you may see while using the RhinoPRO 5000. Error codes display for approximate 3 seconds then the RhinoPRO 5000 display reverts back to the data you originally entered. Afterwards you can edit the data entered to resolve the issue. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error 01 - This will appear on the first line of the display. On the second line you will see: L = XXXX.X mm(or ") You have a fixed length label and the text that you have chosen is longer than the label. You will need to increase the length of the label or remove text. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error 02 - This will appear on the first line of the display. On the second line you will see: BARCODE ERROR You are trying to print a bar code on tape that is 12mm / 1/2" or smaller. Use 19mm / 3/4" tape to print bar codes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error 03 - This will appear on the first line of the display. On the second line you will see: TOO MANY LINES You have too many lines of text for the label size and format selected. Remove a line and try again until this message no longer appears or change your format (i.e. font size, caps vs. no caps, etc.). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error 04 - This will appear on the first line of the display. On the second line you will see: TAPE TOO SMALL You have a Label Width that is too small for the format that you have selected. This may be due to font sizes, caps, or any number of format settings that are available. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error 06 - This will appear on the first line of the display. On the second line you will see: PRINT ERROR This error may appear if the On/Off button is pressed during printing, or the batteries are running low and you are printing a label with heavy inking requirements (such as bar codes with text, or a label with graphics). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error 11 - This will appear on the first line of the display. On the second line you will see: TEXT TOO LONG You have text that is too long for the label format that you have chosen. This may occur with Wrap, PPanal or TBlock selected.
