Are Dymo RhinoPRO printers and labels in compliance with RoHS legislation?

The RhinoPRO 1000, RhinoPRO 3000, and RhinoPRO 5000 printers meet the standards of the European Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electronic equipment (RoHS). To see the Declaration of Conformance letter for these printers, click here

    • ROHS Compliancy Guidelines
    A product is defined as RoHS compliant if the lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and polybrominated biphenyls (PBS) content in the homogenous materials of the products does not exceed the concentration limits stated below:

    Substance -=- Maximum Concentration
    Lead -=- 0.1% of weight, 1000 mg/kg, 1000 ppm
    Mercury (Hg) -=- 0.1% of weight, 1000 mg/kg, 1000 ppm
    Cadmium (Cd) -=- 0.01% of weight, 100 mg/kg, 100 ppm
    Hexavalent Chromium (CrV1) -=- 0.1% of weight, 1000 mg/kg, 1000 ppm
    PolybrominatedDiphenyl Ethers -=- 0.1% of weight, 1000 mg/kg, 1000 ppm
    Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBS) -=- 0.1% of weight, 1000 mg/kg, 1000 ppm
