How do I print eBay/Paypal Shipping Labels?

When you print your US Post (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS) shipping labels directly from your eBay account, all the address details, and barcodes will be printed on the label, and the cost of the shipping will already be paid..... so all you need to do is book a pickup from USPS or UPS, or drop your package at a Post Office or UPS drop-off location. In fact, USPS offer FREE carrier pickup if you are shipping at least 1 Priority Mail or 1 Express Mail package!

Printing Shipping Labels from eBay

Printing eBay Shipping Labels is simple (but you will need to have a Paypal Account). You can print labels for items you have sold on eBay even if they were not paid for with Paypal. As long as you sold the item on eBay, you can print a shipping label directly from within your eBay account.

  • Log into your eBay account
  • From the Sold Items view, click the checkbox next to the sold item you want to print the labels for.
  • Select US Postal Service postage or UPS shipping label, click continue.
  • Log in to your PayPal account.
  • Enter the package weight, choose the shipping service (i.e. USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, etc), verify that the "Ship From" and "Ship To" information is correct and click the Print button.
There are other options and guidelines that are explained during the Label creating wizard. For instance, you can add Insurance to your shipments. With eBay/Paypal Shipping, you can purchase up to $500 in shipping insurance on USPS postage right in the label printing wizard.

Printing Shipping Labels from Paypal

Printing Paypal Shipping Labels is just as easy. In fact, if you sold an eBay item with Paypal as the payment method, you can just go ahead and print the shipping label directly from Paypal. If you have sold items elsewhere (somewhere other than on eBay) and the customer used Paypal as the payment method, then all of their details will be pre-loaded in your Paypal account, so printing the shipping labels directly from PayPal will be easy.

  • Log into your PayPal account
  • Go to the Account Overview page or Post-Sale Manager and click the Ship button for the item.
  • Choose the carrier and service options you would like to use.
  • Enter the package weight, choose the shipping service (i.e. USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, etc), verify that the "Ship From" and "Ship To" information is correct and click the Print button.
Like in eBay Shipping, there are other options you can take along the way, like insurance.
