To help identify if this issue affects your LabelWriter 400 series power adapter we ask that you follow the steps outlined below carefully.
To determine if you need to take action
- Look at the label on the back of the power adapter connected to your LabelWriter printer's power cord.
- If the label displays the RoHS symbol in the upper right corner as shown, your power adapter is not affected and you do not need to do anything further.
- If the label does not display the RoHS symbol, look at the date code stamped into the plastic just below the label.
- If your date code is one of the following:

Unplug your power adapter immediately and Contact DYMO Support as soon as possible to request a free External Power Adapter Replacement Kit. Contact DYMO at 888-658-3904 or click here.
If your date code is not one of those listed above, no action is necessary. Your printer power adapter is not affected.
