Information on Recall of DYMO LabelWriter 400 Power Adapters

To help identify if this issue affects your LabelWriter 400 series power adapter we ask that you follow the steps outlined below carefully.

To determine if you need to take action

  1. Look at the label on the back of the power adapter connected to your LabelWriter printer's power cord.
  2. If the label displays the RoHS symbol in the upper right corner as shown, your power adapter is not affected and you do not need to do anything further.

  3. If the label does not display the RoHS symbol, look at the date code stamped into the plastic just below the label.
  4. If your date code is one of the following:

Unplug your power adapter immediately and Contact DYMO Support as soon as possible to request a free External Power Adapter Replacement Kit. Contact DYMO at 888-658-3904 or click here.

If your date code is not one of those listed above, no action is necessary. Your printer power adapter is not affected.
