Dymo LabelWriter

Dymo LabelWriter printers are small purpose-built label printers designed to print anything from Address Labels and Shipping Labels right through to Video Cassette Tape and Jewelry Labels.
 
They have a very small footprint and print on pre-cut label in many different shapes and sizes. Dymo LabelWriters are comptatible with Windows and Macintosh systems and come in varying speeds and label size capacities.

Leading the new generation '400 Series' is the LabelWriter 400 which offers 300dpi print resolution and prints up to 40 Address Labels per minute. Next in line is the LabelWriter 400 Turbo which is identical to the 400, but it is almost 40% faster. The Turbo prints up to 55 address labels per minute.

The LabelWriter Twin Turbo is an industry-first. It has 2 of the same printer in one machine (2x LabelWriter 400 Turbo's) and is perfect for people who regularly use more than one label size, so instead of changing the label roll each time you want to print the other label size, you have both label sizes ready-to-go at all times.

Another industry-first is the LabelWriter Duo. Again, this is actualy 2x printers in the one machine, but in this case the printers are different. You see the DUO has a LabelWriter 400 Turbo printer inside and also an electronic tape-labeling machine. So it takes pre-cut thermal paper rolls in one machine, and plastic/vinyl/nylon/fabric label tape cartridges in the other built-in printer.

Finally we have the LabelWriter SE300. The SE300 is a enables software developers to quickly integrate label printing into applications written in UNIX, DOS and other serial (RS-232) enabled systems. It does support Windows like all the other models in the LW range, but is more tailored to DOS/Unix applications.

At the end of 2005, Dymo ceased supply of the outgoing '300 series' (except for the SE300). The models that were replaced are as follows:
