Tip : Can I print barcodes with the Dymo LabelManager Wireless PnP?

Printing Barcodes on the Dymo LabelManager Wireless PnP is simple, but you need to be using the full-featured version of the free Dymo DLS software, rather than the Dymo Light Software which is pre-loaded into your label maker.

The LabelManager Wireless PnP (now replaced by the Dymo Bluetooth Mobile Labeler) can be connected to a PC or Mac computer via USB or it can sit by itself (physically unconnected to a PC / Mac) and used as a wifi device. If it is connected to your computer you can use the Dymo Light software which is loaded on the printer to create labels quickly on the fly. The limitation of using the 'light' software is that you can only create labels that contain text. For those that wish to print barcodes or even add clipart or perhaps a Logo, you'll need to use the full features Dymo DLS Software (it's FREE).

To create a barcode label with DLS, you simply create a label within the software then drag amd drop a barcode onto your label. Once the barcode is there, you choose the symbology, enter the text and then print. You can save any number of labels as templates for future use. Some of the available barcode symbologies are:
- Code 39
- Code 128
- Code 2 of 5
- UPC
- EAN
- Codabar
- ITF

The Dymo LabelManager PnP WiFi is a relatively inexpensive label maker that prints on Dymo's universal D1 label tape system and uses sizes ¼" (6mm), ⅜" (9mm), ½" (12mm), ¾" (19mm) and 1" (24mm) all of which have Dymo's easy-peel split back
