The Dymo Rhino 6000 has a large LCD screen that displays a number of different label variables, including the label type, label features, the battery level and of course the text/symbols you are printing. You can actually make adjustments to the screen to show different variables.
Like all LCD screens, the ambient light will affect the ability of the user to see the screen clearly. In dark conditions you'll want a brighter screen, and in brighter conditions you'll probably want the screen a little darker, perhaps with some contrast adjustment.

The Rhino 6000 has a backlight button that is simple to use - it's either on or off - and after 15 seconds of inactivity the backlight turns off automatically to save battery.
